What this website is
This website describes Vector Asylum, the work it does and the Desk that reads its market. It is general information. Reading it, using the Desk, or sending an application creates no engagement, no client relationship and no duty on either side. An engagement exists only under written terms signed by both parties, as the Terms state.
No offer, no solicitation
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, fund interest, investment product or financial instrument. Vector Asylum does not sell securities, does not operate a fund open to the public, does not take subscriptions and does not accept investment instructions through this site or the Desk.
Where Vector Asylum takes an equity position alongside a client, it invests its own capital under a negotiated agreement with that client. That participation is not offered to the public and is not described here as an investment opportunity.
Regulatory status
Vector Asylum is not registered as a dealer, adviser or investment fund manager with the Ontario Securities Commission or with any other securities regulator. It does not act as a dealer, underwriter or placement agent, and does not hold or handle client funds or securities.
An engagement is priced as a fee, as equity, or as both. Where a step in a client's transaction requires a registered firm, the client engages that firm separately, and Vector Asylum does not perform that step. The statement on cost is on the What We Do page.
Not professional advice
The content of this website is general. It is not investment, legal, tax, accounting or valuation advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Obtain independent professional advice before any transaction or decision.
The figures and the Desk
The Desk is an AI system and says so when asked. The figures it gives, and the figures printed in our essays, come from public sources we name: filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the investment adviser register, the Federal Reserve, and public wire services. Counts are rounded. A median taken over the filers who disclose a figure is not a market median, and each page says which it is.
The coverage of those sources is partial and is stated where it matters. Information may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong at the source, and we do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of third-party data. No output of the Desk is a recommendation, a valuation or a basis for a decision.
Outcomes
We do not guarantee that any introduction will be made, that any mandate, capital or transaction will result, or that any engagement will produce a particular outcome. Where this site describes what an engagement delivers, it describes the work itself. Prior work is not an assurance of future results.
Initial inquiries and confidentiality
The application form and the Desk are not confidential channels. Do not send price-sensitive, privileged or otherwise confidential information through them. Material about a business is exchanged only after a confidentiality agreement is in place. What the forms collect and how long it is kept is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services and links
The site uses named service providers for scheduling, email delivery, media delivery and network security, and it links to LinkedIn and to the sources its essays cite. Those services and sites are governed by their own terms. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for their content.
Fraud notice
We write only from addresses ending in @vectorasylum.com. We invoice only under written terms, never ask for payment to a third party, and never request wire instructions, passwords or account credentials by email or message. We do not contact people to sell securities or investment products.
If someone claims to represent Vector Asylum in any other way, do not act on it. Confirm with us at [email protected].
